MISSION STATEMENT AND FAQ
Our mission is to promote the bands and the venues that get ignored by even local media. We have done a few charity shows: (Freezer Pop Fest and Live at the Legion) Freezer Pop Fest was a benefit for Toys For Tots, Marthas Vineyard and the Ronald McDonald House and a family selected by the Salvation Army to help them deal with a rough Christmas. Live at the Legion was a benefit for Paducah Cooperative Ministries, The Michael Quinlan Brain Tumor Foundation and HEART USA, all the money from this and Freezer Pop Fest went to the organizations they were helping out and none to Paducah Promotions. We also wish to preserve the past music scene.
Are we a non profit organization?
No we are not, but have and will do non profit concerts to help organizations that need a little boost
Are we a "For Profit Organization"?
Not Yet, we, to this day have not made any money since becoming an LLC, a legal registered company with the Kentucky State Treasurer.
Are you associated with the Summer Festival?
No we are not, The Summer Festival legally used the name Paducah Promotions until 2005, we were aware of this until after we registered the name with the State Treasurer in 2010 after we registered the name we found out its prior use was with the Summer Festival, we politely asked them to remove the name from their checking account and they have been, as far as we know, cooperative.
How do I get my bands video on your site?
Are you a local band and have a video on youtube? If you answered yes to that then just send us the link, we'll be happy to add you on.
I own a local company, how can I advertise on your site?
We are always willing to advertise for local businesses, but since we are not listed as a non profit, we may send you a rate, depending on if you have helped us with concerts in the past, really if you want to advertise on this site, send us some financial assistance with our concert ventures. We arent big on advertisement fees and all that.
