The October

The October were rooted in 80s New Wave and Brit rock and based out of Metropolis, IL.  Lead singer and composer Dustin Burnett teamed up with guitarist James Lindsey, drummer Aaron Spraggs and bassist Matt Wiley to begin touring and introducing the debut recording, “Push Me Off the Side of the Earth.” Burnett recorded the album in the fall of 2004 after the split of the Metropolis based band, “Lightheaded.”  The band's music had been featured on MTV's Inferno II, they have played 2005 Sundance Film Festival, New York's CMJ festival and toured all over the US.
