Teenage Rehab (2002-Present) Danny Rehab- Guitars, Vocals, 40 oz. Thomas Habit- Bass, Vocals, Condiments Alex Reject- Drums, Sleep Apnia
Danny, Alex, and Thomas all have one thing in common......the love for rock n roll music, but most notably, punk rock. Teenage Rehab was formed in 1997 because they weren't many good bands playing the kind of music frontman Danny Rehab enjoyed. Being exposed to Black Flag & The Descendents from skateboarding videos in the early to mid 90's, Danny decided to try his hand at playing in a punk rock band. After the original line-up of Danny Rehab, Shelby P, and Randall Griggs, Danny recruited Alex Reject to play drums and moved Shelby P. to bass duties in 1999. The band continued to play local shows and in 2001 Teenage Rehab released their first and WAY out of print album "Plunk Rock" from Canada's (now defunct) Amp Records. The album quickly sold out and the band played out alot to support its success. In 2002, Thomas Habit came on board as the bassist of the band and Teenage Rehab quickly began traveling nationally and writing for their classic 2nd record "More Than A Job" soon after. In 2004, "More Than A Job" was released on Amp Records gaining critical acclaim from reviewers and fans alike and lighting the KY punk scene on fire! As Danny, Thomas and Alex began to grow more and more as friends and musicians so did Teenage Rehab as a national touring act and a band that could sell records and merchandise. After several years of promoting "More Than A Job" Teenage Rehab released their smash hit EP "Goodbye Sanity" on their new label Jailhouse Records in March 2008, touring the United States for 90 days in support of the record, being a top 5 band on PunkRadioCast, being featured on the front page of Interpunk.com and being the subject of many interviews. In late 2008 the band began writing for their 3rd full length and entered the studio in Feb 2009 with punk rock vets Joe Queer and Jim Tierney to record 17 brand new punk rock songs! The record is titled "Let's Be Enemies" and will be released on November 10th, 2009 by Jailhouse Records. Teenage Rehab continues to travel nationally supporting their music and keeping punk rock "un safe" for the masses!
