Hi, welcome to our bio! We are Middle Class Trash, a four piece punk band hailing from Paducah, KY. We've been playing punk rock in the vein of Black Flag, Minor Threat, Descendents, Bad Religion, and so-on for about 6 years now. We've self-released one full length record to date with an EP on the way. We've shared the stage with the Queers, Pink Lincolns, Teenage Rehab, and others. We bought a van last January and subsequently finished our first tour three weeks later. We're embarking on our second tour, starting July 10th, 2009 to promote the aforementioned EP. We've enjoyed some good press, as well.

"Apparently there's a punk scene in Paducah, Kentucky and these kids got together and put together a sweet little disc. It's good, fast punk played with just the right proficiency to keep it real and thank fuck it's not over-produced. " -Profane Existence no. 56

"This band hails from Paducah, Kentucky, where I spent a few days while researching my master’s thesis on people who reenact the French and Indian War (seriously!). If I had known that there was a good band there, maybe I could have hung out with people other than middle-aged men with 1760s era replica muskets! Anyway! Middle Class Trash rules! Awesome mid-tempo punk rock with influences apparently including everything from the Adolescents to the Ramones to DRI! Non-stupid political lyrics! I know I like something when I immediately want to see the band in a crowded basement show while slightly drunk and dance-y! On a serious note, it’s amazing that the punk scene continues to produce awesome bands from the most random locations! If this were a cereal, it’d be Fruit Loops!" –Maddy (Razorcake Magazine)

We're a socio-political band, commenting on everything from the war in Iraq and Afghanistan to America's overindulgence in plastic surgery. No part of the cultural melting-pot is safe. Of course, we also swing into the uber-nerdy arena of comic book villains and what life is like for a punk in the middle of the Bible Belt.
